It was a pretty good game in teeming rain. The Paddys, as well as wearing a green more used by South Africa, (as opposed to the usual bright green) seemed to have been working in the off season. Their defence was very good. In fact they seemed to be in control for the early part of the first half. But then the Mighty Blacks upped it a gear and...that's all she wrote.
(Mind you, I missed the last try from the MBs due to the poxy Foxtel cutting out!)
But never fear; the Tri-Nations begins on terrestial TV this Saturday, woohoo. The MBs (current title holders), Wallabies and the Springboks slog it out for the prize. Including the Bledisloe Cup.
I get to watch it in peace, thankfully - rather than having to put up with slappers dancin round their handbags in front of the bar tele!
