My First Super Bowl

Watched the Super Bowl for the first time yesterday. It's not a big deal in New Zealand but Whitesnake managed to find coverage on one of our TV channels. I couldn't believe how long the game was on. I think I'm correct when I say the game time was an hour but it was on telly for four. I didn't really understand the rules so I had one eye on the computer and the other on the TV. I probably won't watch the game next year but I'll watch the half time performances. I thought Madonna was fantastic. Love her.

See ya later
Love KB

  2. I wish I could have seen the commercials. We had boring ones.

  3. I never watch it. No desire or need. No one in my family is interested either. If not for a handful of online friends, I would be completely oblivious. But now and then I catch one of the commercials on YouTube.

  6. Hi there KB ... thank you so much for your message, I am doing OK. I have been having a few health problems which have been causing me some grief but surgery at the end of this month will hopefully fix that for me. My brother, who has a chronic kidney disease, has been very unwell also. His kidneys are only functioning now at 20% after a double bout of pneumonia in the last 12 months. If is kidneys deteriorate to 15% he will have to start dialysis, we are all very concerned and are hoping for a miracle.
Anyway, I just wanted you to know that finding your comment was really nice, thank you.
As for Gridiron.... my husband played it for 5 years & it is the longest game I think there is on the planet & they really are like 4 hours long. I watched lots of games but I still had trouble understanding all the plays etc. Rugby league is much less confusing. have great week...cheers Kath

  7. You are so right that the Superbowl was a long game! All the commercials had to have playing time too, lol!

Since I am a New Yorker I was glad our team won!
