FLASH 55 - THREE FOR THE PRICE OF ONE

I was struggling with a topic for my 55 this week so I asked if my friends would mind supplying a few prompts. G-Man and Missy were kind enough to oblige. I decided to write one 55 for each of them. I'm happy to report that I used all of G's prompts but Missy supplied enough for a short novel. Thanks so much you two...I had alot of fun doing this.


Real football players don't wear pads
G's really in denial
I'm never going to show my feet
That would just be juvenile

I'm a Blonde full of Kraziness
This certainly is true
Short shorts I'll wear in summer time
But you'll never see a tattoo

Missy is my dearest friend
I've known her for years
We met upon the Helium deck
Perving at rugby men and slugging beers

She introduced me to G-man's world
He's the coolest on the block
Foot fetishes I don't understand
But as G would say...you rock

Prompts were alot

Maritime Mayhem

The sickle moon crested the horizon, its pale opalescence obscured by scudding stratiform clouds. On the deck of the eighty foot trawler “Marie Rose”, the deck-hands looked on with mounting trepidation, as the first swells from the approaching storm buffeted the ship. With the engine seized, it was going to be a long, terrifying night.
