Missy made me do it...honest
King Carlos...... *bib please Missy*
NZ rugby isn't the same without Carlos. Come back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Photos no longer available
I met the man one day. I asked him to sign the back of my shirt and hubby said, "She'd much rather you signed her front." quite true but very embarassing.
The first pic is me and Carlos, next my step-daughter (Grace) with him and last but not least, Grace and Jonah Lomu.

Yikes
I finally placed ads on my website. Not a good idea....first they were in Chinese and now they have disappeared altogether. Why don't these websites have instructions for blondes?
In other news, my friend Jay (who I met on line)is staying with me. We've had a wonderful day, we went to see Pirates of the Carribean followed by a few wines at the pub. Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow, we're off to Auckland City. Jay has been to Auckland many times but never been to the Skytower. Hopefully she will behave and I won't have to throw her off the top...hehe.
Night all

Holiday time
I'm outta here. Going to spend a week in Rotorua... soaking in hot pools, walking, reading, eating too much and drinking too much. I'm leaving tomorrow and back next Saturday. Try to misbehave while I'm gone.

Go The Mighty All Blacks!!!!!!
For those of you who don't already know, I'm a huugggeeeeeee Rugby fan. I'm so excited, only three hours until I see the Mighty All Blacks take the field for the first time this year. I'm sitting here in my All Black jersey, dressed in black from head to foot actually. Wine bottle, snacks and remote control at the ready. Yikes, I really need a life!!! Did I mention I'm excited? Hehe.
Here's the little vid of the boys I promised you Missy.

Busy Day
I've been going a bit stir crazy this week, having conversations with my dog is all well and good but when I started to imagine how she would reply,I realized it was time to get out and interact with the human folk!!!!!
It was a gorgeous day, the sun was shining, you'd never know it was winter time. I met my friend for brunch. We used to work together at the bank, she filled me in on all the gossip. Sounds like things haven't changed much. I'm still really happy I left that place but I do miss my workmates and some of my customers.
A friend of mine who lives overseas recently bought an apartment in Auckland. He asked me if I would mind taking some pics of the place next time I was in the city. I decided to head into town to check it out.
I found the place easily and started snapping away. I must have looked strange, taking pics of this building from different angles. Especially when a guy appeared on his balcony IN A TOWEL!!!!! Yikes, I must have looked like a right stalker.
Took the scenic route home via the waterfront. Here's a pic for ya.

The drive home took an hour....arrrgggggg. I'd forgotten it was Queen's Birthday weekend. Every man and his dog had obviously decided it was P.O.E.T.S day (Piss Off Early Tomorrow's Saturday)and time to get out of Auckland for a few days. I still find it rather amusing that NZ gets a day off to clebrate the Queen's birthday but the English don't. Any excuse for a day off and the Kiwis will take it.
Had a fun filled evening with my parents. I laughed so much my sides ached. Headed home for a chat with one of my on line buddies. Before I knew it, it was four am and way past bed time.
A wonderful day.
