At first I thought it was "Cookie" bay, and thought it really did look like a cookie.
Love it! It's called Cockle Bay because of the cockles found under the sea bed.

are there still cockles here? I am crazy about collecting shell fish. Not so much as eating them, just holding them in my hand. The best expereince I had was in Whakatane where I got horse lip mussels.Thanks for visiting.
