Poetry: Consequences

Twisting turmoil

emotions run amok

feelings laid out

like an open book

Nowhere to run

nowhere to hide

some secrets should

remain inside

The prison consumes

time to break free

nobody to lean on

I must depend on me

The heart is willing

the time is now

a little faith

takes care of the how

Have a great weekend

  5. Great how the poem seems to build with urgency to that great last stanza "The heart is willing / the time is now / a little faith / takes care of the how" smooth!
