New Zealand's Men In Black

Good afternoon my friends,

Feeling good today, I’ve just watched Australia and New Zealand compete in an exciting game of Rugby for the Bledisloe Cup. Australia and New Zealand compete once a year for the cup and our Men In Black (All Blacks) will retain the cup for another year.   

Speaking of our Men In Black, I’ll share below Air New Zealand’s Safety Video featuring some of the All Blacks. It’s a lot of fun to watch.

I'm Back

Hi my friends,

I’m so sorry I haven’t been around lately. Last year was a terrible time for us; hubby was bullied at work, two of our dearest friends died and then hubby lost his job.

I went through a stage of not having anything to write about. That’s unheard of for me as I find writing very therapeutic.

Anyway, I’m back now and hoping to get back into blogging again. I’ve missed blogging and my blogging buddies.

A Fun Visit With Whitesnake's Brother

Whitesnake's brother came to stay with us for week from Australia. We had a lot of fun and of course the time went too quickly.

As you can see from the photo, the diet went out the window for the week.

Health Goals

I weighed myself this morning. I haven't lost any weight this week, but I'm pleased I stuck to my goals for the week. I walked for 30 minutes three times, I didn't drink any Milo and I didn't eat and potato chips.

So far, so good.

Making Home Made Beer

Whitesnake and I have enjoyed a relaxing day at home, out of the heat.

This morning we bottled Whitesnake's home made beer.  It should be ready in a couple of weeks and just in time for Whitesnake's brother to arrive from Australia for a visit.

Blood Pressure Is Back Under Control

I visited the Dr for my followup on Monday and I'm pleased to say my blood tests came back fine and my blood pressure is now within the normal range. Excellent news to start the new year.
