I've had quite an emotional week but thanks to the support of my man, everything appears to be back on track. Thanks to him for all the feel good moments which have helped me through the shitty ones.

How Rude

Sometimes I feel like such a schmuck, like I'm a nerd back at school being taken advantage of. An online acquaintance of mine (who usually doesn't give me the time of day) sent me a message asking a technical question about blogging. Actually, they didn't even have the decency to ask how I was or anything like that. That should have been my first clue to ignore the message. Anyway, I didn't know the answer off the top of my head but I replied to the message and said I'd get back to them. I was having quite a busy day and had stuff of my own to attend to but I did a bit of research and replied to the message with the info. I received another message from said person saying they already had that information and was there a quicker way to do it. I replied that there wasn't and didn't hear from them again. Not a thank you, nothing. Some people have no manners. Why do I bother?

The Big Chill

New Zealand is experiencing a one in 50 year polar blast, it's snowing in places that haven't seen snow in decades. Most of New Zealand has experienced snow and hail, closing roads, airports, schools and cutting power to thousands.

There was only a light shower of snow in my city but I had to take a pic. This is the first time I've seen snow where I live since I moved here over 25 years ago.

Stay warm NZ.

I found this on Keith's blog and it made me giggle.

I've had a few feel good moments this week. Spent three days off with my man, which always makes me feel good. Watched the All Blacks kick some Australian butt. Caught up with a friend who I haven't seen for FOUR years and it was great. Bought a new laptop because our old one went on strike.
