The Big Chill

New Zealand is experiencing a one in 50 year polar blast, it's snowing in places that haven't seen snow in decades. Most of New Zealand has experienced snow and hail, closing roads, airports, schools and cutting power to thousands.

There was only a light shower of snow in my city but I had to take a pic. This is the first time I've seen snow where I live since I moved here over 25 years ago.

Stay warm NZ.

  4. At least it's only a dusting, and not the mountains of it we got last winter. The river here has only just gotten to normal levels again. Now we've got forest fires.

  7. I'm not exactly sure what to say, seeing that it is the middle of winter in NZ. ;)
How did you miss the snow Whitesnake? Oh God, it is so hard to keep from biting my tongue. So sorry KB - chalk it up to my being a Canadian :))))
