GRATEFUL

This week the prompt from Sunday Scribblings is - GRATEFUL

Grandma's cuddles
Freshly baked bread
Fairytale stories
Tucked up in bed

First true love
Joy holding hands
Sitting on benches
Making big plans

Family and children
Glowing with pride
Tiredness and sacrifice
Pushed to the side

Woman full grown
My time to shine
The simple life
Suits me just fine

  5. I'm noticing that most people are grateful for the simple things in life. Not one person, yet, has even mentioned money!

    Beautiful poem!

  10. I love the way you remind me about what is important, you are probably about the only person who can tell me someting without me arguing lol.

I real think that your writing gets better and better and I don't know if that's because you are actually getting better or just sharing more of what you already have inside. Either way, I feeled honoured to be able to share what you write and I'm proud to be your friend (which is another thing to be grateful for)
