BLONDE...KRAZY BLONDE

I've read a couple of scathing reviews of the new Bond film but I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were times I was certain I was watching scenes from the last Jason Bourne movie actually.

This movie was action packed, fast paced and surprisingly violent. I can recall only one of the usually included 'yeah right' stunts. Hopefully, Bond's days of flying down a mountain on a cello case are over.

In my opinion, the worst of 007 has been replaced but the old gems still remain. Daniel Craig is charismatic and totally droolworthy shirtless and M is as crabby as ever.

It's all good. Loved it!

LESSON FOR THE DAY

A two-hour motion picture uses around 3.3km of film.

  2. Being a real thicko I never realised that the latest Bond movie is a follow on from the re-make of Casino Royale. I'm told that Quantum is designed to illustrate how Bond became the man he is and that this is the reason many of the trade mark stuff is missing. Will this mean that the cheesiness will return?

  3. my husband's fave bond is pierce brosnan. i think the movie is tomorrow never dies...it's the one w michelle yeoh. the only one where a bond chick totally kicked ass! lol

i totally LOVE daniel craig as bond. much more believable. doesn't rely on gadgetry. sexy in a tiny swim trunk all dripping wet from the beach & even dry hehe

i will say that on top of daniel, sean connery was one of the best bonds.

i don't know if a lot of ppl realize that quantum starts one hour after vespa kills herself in casino royale. i don't think ppl know the connection. anyways, i'd watch daniel craig any day. he's sposed 2 be in another movie soon & i can't remember the name right now (not bond film).

  5. Well, I didn't have the faintest idea what was going on. I was totally confused. My habit of dropping in and out of sleep whenever I go to the movies doesn't help of course! I may just go back and see it again.

  6. Mr Snake - That's the first thing I said when it finished. I was looking forward to hearing those words.

Toadee - I didn't know this either until H explained to me after. Blonde or what?

Missy - I didn't care for Timothy Dalton either

Ciara - See comment to Toadee abouve. I am going to see it again now that I know this.

Keith - Do you snore during the films?

  7. I enjoyed it though found it to be a bit short. Weren't the Bond films of old usually about two and a half hours long...?
And to increase my enjoyment, it whalloped the shit out of that wank, Australia, which has bombed by the way. Hahahaha.
    Tosser Aussies!

  8. M - Did you think the roof top secene was a take off of Bourne?

  9. Yes, it was - very. But I suppose, to be fair, the whole Bourne series was based on the same spy theme which made Bond so popular...
    Chicken or egg.
I was a bit unconvinced at first but I'd have to say now - Craig does make a great Bond (and that decision has nothing to do with him with his shirt off).

  10. Him? Sure he can't be James Bond. I'm prettier than this man!

Ten points for getting the film reference; ten for the character who said it (and such a character indeed!)

  11. Sounds like Monty Python but I really have no idea.
