HAPPY NEWS

Both of my step-daughters will be in town for Christmas. Woohoo!

G has been living overseas for 18 months. She phoned yesterday to confirm she is on her way home and she'll be bringing her new fella with her. I haven't seen her for over a year. I'm very excited.

She also informed me she had a very blonde moment. She will be staying with her half sister for a short time in Melbourne, Australia. Unfortunately, she booked a ticket to Melbourne, USA. The airline wouldn't refund or exchange her ticket. She's out of pocket 250 English pounds.

H will be home soon too. Her audition for the film went well. She was called back again last week and it's still a toss up between her and another girl. The director asked her if she would be willing to dye her hair red for the role. One of my favourite blondes with red hair - can't wait to see that.

She's also been working on a short film. She's been putting in long hours, 4pm till 4am, six days a week. She made contact with another director while she was working on the film and he suggested she apply for a position at one of NZ's top acting schools. She was accepted on the spot.

I'm very proud of both of the girls and looking forward to seeing them soon.
