A ZOO WITHOUT CAGES

Spent a wonderful day out with Meg and family at the Open Zoo. Obviously, it's not completely open but as close as you can get.

We spent the whole day there, the sun was shining, we toured the zoo on a safari bus and the youngster had a ball.

  1. The pictures are really great, and ALL zoos should be cageless!
I love the idea of an open zoo!

  3. I don't know about being cageless, but that bleedin' great cat sure would frighten the life outa me!
The little beauty lickin' a lolly would be OK though. (OK. OK. So I'm a coward!)

  4. that's how zoos should be (but is it safe to let the children out of their cages?)

  5. Very entertaining trip to your zoo. Couldn't agree more about cages.

  6. Beautiful pictures and is it not dangerous in an open zoo. Probably they have taken the necessary precautions.

    I love animals

  7. Yeah, best zoo I've ever been to. Still sad the animals aren't in the wild like they should be but least they have room to run around. Didn't see them pacing up and down from boredom like the bears and the wild dogs in London zoo. Glad you enjoyed the pics and vid.
