Yesterday, our friend Dickiebo requested a prize for selecting Missy in my reader's poll. I wanted to choose the perfect gift. I took into consideration the unflattering blonde jokes, the Krazy Blonde vid, his dislike of dogs, his disparaging comments about the Mighty All Blacks, the references to my injuries and my botched spelling attempts (I realise your partner in crime - Keith, has much to answer for re the last reference).

This has nothing to do with the above post but while I was away I learned a new word…verisimilitude… “It had the disorderly versimilitude of reality.” Scott Smith. Damn I love that line, sounds much better than “pigs in shit“! I'll go now...I think I've finally lost the plot.

Have some vids to share with you, this is where I go when I say..."Gone To The Beach". There is actually a beach down the road from here but we didn't go this time around. Well kidddies, it's the time of year when I must love and leave you. Christmas is almost upon us and I still have so much to do. I'll be heading to the beach on Boxing Day, hopefully the rain will stay away this time.

I wish you and your families a magical Christmas and a Happy New Year. I know some of you won't be getting presents from Santa this year because you have been very bad, hehe. Enjoy the pressies, your friends and families, eat and drink too much. If your family are anything like mine...try not to strangle the one family member who always drives you crazy.

Be good or bad. If you're gonna be bad, I want to hear all about it when I return. See you in the new year!

A ZOO WITHOUT CAGES

Spent a wonderful day out with Meg and family at the Open Zoo. Obviously, it's not completely open but as close as you can get.

We spent the whole day there, the sun was shining, we toured the zoo on a safari bus and the youngster had a ball.

This little darling followed me around the whole time. We spent several hours playing Connect 4 (I never want to see that game again) and other board games.

She's a real chatter box. I was thrilled to see her performing in the show with her brother and sister.

SHE'S A BIG SIS NOW

She was excited to be going to the zoo and wanted to show me how many animals she'd packed in her handbag for the journey.

He's a talented boy. I was very excited to see him perform ballet for the first time in front of an audience. Jacob and half a dozen young ladies - sounds like a perfect way to pick up girls to me, hehe.

Woohoo, I finally uploaded a wee vid

Yikes, I've been trying to get this loaded for about three weeks. Must have to hold your mouth a certain way for it work...hehe. Now that I know it works, I'll annnoy you with more vids on a regular basis. You've probably noticed, I'm more into visuals than writing. *wink*
BTW, sorry about the sound quality but I don't have the heart to remove it since it's taken me so long to get in on here. May be a good idea to turn the sound down a bit.
I'll make it more exciting next time...this was just a little experiment.
