Betrayal

Sadness engulfs,
tempers flare,
trust dissolves,
does anyone care?

Alone to cry,
sleepless nights,
jealousy possesses,
endless fights.

Strangers appear,
love's pretence,
shameful journey,
makes no sense.

    the voice of your verse seems so sad, so betrayed.
