Weekend Walkabout - Farm Cove Reserve

Welcome to Weekend Walkabout, a place to share and explore the different corners of our world.

My wishes have been granted again....lucky me. It's been really hot recently and I've been telling Whitesnake how wonderful it would be to find a place we could walk Coco which has some water for her to cool off in. Also, we've been considering buying some weights so we could do some muscle conditioning exercises. Next thing we know, Mum and Dad invite us out to a picnic at one of thier favourite places. There are walking tracks, lots of shade, sea and weight machines. Perfect!

Next time we'll take Coco with us and she'll love it.

Walkabout is a phrase we use in NZ, which means to walk around and explore with no specific destination in mind. Have you been walkabout anywhere interesting this week? If so, post your story or pictures to your blog, leave a comment here and a link to your blog on our Linky and Whitesnake or KB will come take a look.

See you tomorrow.

  2. Ah what a great time you had and you are really on the healthy tour. Well done and thumbs up.
We didn't have a walk this weekend as it was grey and cold.
Hope you have dry feet as I saw some horrible flooding in Auckland on TV
