I remember this day so well. It was my birthday and I asked if we could go to the beach. Yes people, this is how you dress when you go to the beach in England in April. Dad drove us to Stockport, we had to walk for about 15 mins along the beach to reach the sea. We played mini golf and visited WHSmith (my favourite place to go in the whole world - you guessed it...a bookshop). Too young to know the joys of the pub, LOL!

ha ha i love these photos! and the sack comment? lmao. that HAD to be from the 80's....yes, sacks and perms. hehehe i need to dig out more of my photos. i tried to get them from my mom, but she didn't want to part w them quite yet because she's going bk to the philippines in a few months. she needs to show her family who have not seen me or my brother in over 35 years.
