Hobbit May Be Over Before It's Begun

'

The actors' boycott of The Hobbit is over but the damage has already been done. Although Sir Peter Jackson says he will fight to save the production,  the final decision is now in the hands of Warner Bros. The American movie making giants are concerned about making the production in NZ after a dispute with the Actors' Equity.

Arrrg, Jackson has done so much for not only the NZ film industry but the whole of NZ. He has put NZ on the film making map with his work in The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy. Why do a small few have to spoil all his good work? Most actors and film crew here are desperate for work but now our hard worked for reputation is tarnished.

It will be a real shame if the production of The Hobbit is moved out of NZ. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the Union stays out of it and lets everyone get on with the job in hand.

I'll be back soon
